Good Afternoon Performers,

The day flew by!  With Annie and Math, that's about all we did this afternoon.

In math, we are finishing up our division learning.  Today we focused on how to write division word problems.  Some of the things that we said that we must always include in our word problems are:

The number of "things" and how we plan on grouping them.  We must also let the mathematicians know if we are looking for "equal" groups.  Also there has to be a question in there. For example, you might say How many cookies will each person get.  Look at the word problem below. Let's see if we have all the information.

If there are 54 students trying out for soccer at Cranston and there are 9 players on each team.  Will there be an equal number of players on each team? If so, how many players will be on each team?

The Peace Wing's Performance  of Annie was this afternoon.  It was spectacular!  Thank you to all students for your hard work.  Room 80 choir you were so focused and well behaved on the risers. Thank you for showing everyone what great kids your are.
